01 / SOUND FIRST
This guide cannot hear your speakers or inspect the host's mix. Choose what is happening; do not change live production settings on guesswork.
First, confirm how the host is sharing music. It may be a Go Live stream or the host's voice mix.
For a stream, open the intended host's Watch Stream tile and check that stream's mute and volume controls. An unrelated gaming stream is not necessarily the music source.
For a voice mix, tell the host: “I hear your voice, but not the music.” Ask them to check the music send to Discord. Clicking a camera picture does not add missing audio.
Return to Sound Stage and ask the host ↗Check that you are connected to the intended voice room and are not deafened. Confirm Discord's output device and volume, then check your computer or headset output.
For Go Live, join the intended stream separately and check its stream volume. A moving speaking indicator is not proof that your speakers are receiving sound.
If two guided checks do not restore audio, stop repeating them and ask the host for help. Confirm when you can actually hear it; leaving the room does not mark it fixed.
An original generated take may be video-only even when a soundtrack is saved to the project. In Director Studio, open your project, go to Create, then choose Preview scene with music - free and Play with music.
A preview is not an approved export. Do not buy credits or accept an unsuitable take just to check the sound.
Open Director Studio ↗Confirm the intended delivery route, voice send, music send, and an actual audience-side listening check. Keep incoming Discord audio out of the outgoing mix to avoid feedback.
Use the staff controls in the RMS Discord assistance flow to record readiness. A route or device change requires another check. These records are host/listener confirmations, not automatic measurements.
Do not restart OBS, reconnect audio devices, or play test tones during someone else's performance. Recording requires disclosure and participant consent.
02 / THE RIGHT PATH
Music publishing concerns the song's music and lyrics. The recording is a separate asset. Cataloging, professional services, marketplace admission, and licensing are separate decisions.
For a 14-song project, first choose the outcome below. Track count alone does not determine a service or a quote.

Explore music publishing ↗Finished mixes and multitrack sessions need different work. Confirm deliverables, revisions, timing, and the agreed price before payment.
