Does membership give RMS ownership of my work?

No. Membership is an access and participation product. Ownership, publishing, licensing and rights agreements remain separate and require their own explicit terms.

Why does checkout start in Discord?

It lets RMS bind your paid access to the correct Discord identity automatically, instead of guessing from an email address.

What happens if I cancel?

When Stripe marks a subscription to cancel at period end, access is retained through the paid-through boundary. Membership-derived access is revoked after the subscription actually ends.

What if a payment fails?

A temporary past-due state does not instantly destroy access. Stripe lifecycle status is reconciled and access is removed only when the subscription reaches a terminal unpaid or canceled state.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Yes. Tier changes are reconciled to the actual subscription state and the matching membership access level.

Does membership guarantee sync placements or revenue?

No. RMS does not promise income, placements, publishing deals or licensing outcomes through membership.
